ABOUT synestia

Blending the relentless intensity of deathcore with the grandeur of symphonic orchestration, Synestia presents a sound that is as crushing as it is melodic and atmospheric. 

Founded by guitarist and songwriter Sam Melchior in 2020, Synestia has released 1 full-length album and 2 EPs to date, including "The Poetic Edda", a collaborative effort with Disembodied Tyrant in 2024. 

With the addition of vocalist Ryan Vail (Larcenia Roe), bassist Grant Robinson, and drummer Byron London (Crown Magnetar), Synestia looks to continue pushing the boundaries of modern extreme music.
